LIKELY CAUSES — RANKED MOST COMMON FIRST
- 1
EMPTY KEG
Most common cause — confirm before chasing other issues.
Fix- Tap a fresh keg; mark and return the empty.
- 2
TRIPPED FOB DETECTOR
Foam-on-Beer sensor closed after the previous keg blew.
Fix- Vent the FOB and re-seat the float per manufacturer instructions.
- 3
CLOSED SHUTOFF
A ball valve in the trunk line was closed during service.
Fix- Walk the line from keg to tower; open any closed shutoffs.
- 4
FROZEN LINE / ICED COUPLER
Glycol or cooler too cold has frozen beer in the line.
Fix- Warm the affected section gently with ambient air (no torches).
- Raise glycol setpoint to 28–30°F.
STILL NOT FIXED?
Capture temp at the faucet, applied PSI at the regulator, and a photo of the pour. Then check the spec reference or run a full line cleaning.
